Taylor Enterprises Ltd., and Clients
P.I.P.E.D.A. Compliance
Both Taylor Enterprises and the Associations we represent
respect your privacy. We also strive to protect the confidentiality of any
personal information you may give us. We'd like you to know (a) the circumstances
under which we collect information, (b) the kind of information we collect,
and (c) how we may use that information.
We collect information on behalf of the Associations we
manage and, from time to time, for our own purposes. You may provide us
this information on-line, in a telephone conversation, or through a completed
printed form.

For Taylor Enterprises Ltd.
1. On the Internet
Currently, we don't collect anything from you on-line.
We don't use cookies (small, encrypted text files that contain information
about you) to track your usage of our site.
We may, from time to time, offer seminars and accept registration
on the Internet. In that case, we will collect only such information as
is required to (a) ensure that your confirmation is sent to you at the address
of your choosing and (b) that your payment is processed correctly. We will
ask you for your name, mailing address, phone number, e-mail address and
your credit card information. Credit card information provided on-line would
be processed over a secure link.
As part of the registration process, we may ask you if
you want to receive information about other seminars. You would be free
to opt in or out. If you opted in, we would maintain your contact information
in a database solely used for that purpose. This database would not be shared,
given, sold or rented to any other party under any circumstances. It would
reside on our computer, and may only be accessed by a Taylor employee who
has (a) been authorized to do so and (b) has a password issued by our IT
department.
None of the information we collect from you would be maintained
on the Internet or on an Internet-accessible computer.
2. By phone, mail or in person
At this time, we don't collect anything from you for our
own account.
In future, we may, as mentioned above, offer seminars and
take registration by phone, mail or in person. Registration information
would include name, address, telephone number and e-mail address, along
with payment information. Such data would be collected only by our membership
or special events department, and would be maintained on a secure server
not connected to the Internet. This information would be used only to facilitate
event registration and administration. No data collected would be sold,
rented, or given to third parties.
All payments would be processed either through our credit/debit
card machine (our accounting department would retain copies only for bank
verification/reconciliation) or (for cheques/money orders/cash) deposited
directly to bank. Once again, they would be processed securely, and the
account information would be stored on a secure computer which is not accessible
by the Internet

For Associations
1. On the Internet
Associations may take on-line membership registration or
renewals. They will collect information on you, which may include your name,
address, telephone number, e-mail address, birth date, employer, position,
and Social Insurance Number. This data is captured and entered onto a secure
server, which is not connected to the Internet. Data is used only to allow
efficient administration of the Association; distribute mailings; and monitor
membership renewals and/or course completions. Within the office, your data
is accessed only by the Association manager, and the membership and accounting
departments.
The Association may publish a membership roster from time
to time. Such a roster would include your name and contact information.
While participation in the roster is voluntary, we assume that you consent
to being included unless you notify us to the contrary, in writing.
Your contact information may be made available to telephone
committees to generate attendance at events, follow up on lapsed memberships
or ask for committee support; however, no financial information is provided
to them.
Aggregate statistical data may be made available to Association
Board/committee members. No data collected is sold, rented or given to third
parties.
From time to time, the Association may retain outside consultants
to conduct membership surveys. We may make members' contact information
available to them to facilitate the process. However, this information is
communicated to them under the stipulation that it will only be used for
the survey. Further, all results reported in the survey are not to be identifiable
as coming from specific individuals, and aggregate statistical data is encouraged.
On-line payments are handled securely by the Association's
credit card provider, and no credit card data is available to the association.
On-line registration for seminars, conferences, etc. is handled according
to these same protocols.
